The Silverado 1500 and 2500 HD are both rated to 4,500 kg braked with a 70 mm ball. That leaves room for the weekend away, not just the trip to pony club.

Thinking gooseneck?
GMSV now offers a factory 3-inch gooseball for the Silverado 2500 HD, rated to 8,000 kg. It's fitted during the right-hand-drive build and needs a truck licence. Pair it with a EuroFloat gooseneck for a rig built for the long haul.
